Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Embedded Hardware Engineer role based in Ahmedabad. The Embedded Hardware Engineer will design, develop, and validate electronic circuits and hardware architectures for robotics and AI-driven systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include schematic design, PCB layout review, component selection, prototyping, and hardware debugging in collaboration with embedded software and mechanical engineering teams. The role involves working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure hardware performance, reliability, safety, and compliance with industry standards. The engineer will also support testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of hardware platforms for scalable deployment in real-world environments.

Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Embedded Hardware Expert to lead the design, development, and testing of robust embedded systems. The ideal candidate will take ownership of hardware from conceptualization to production, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.


Key Responsibilities

Circuit Design & Layout: Create detailed schematics, perform PCB layout, and select components for mixed-signal embedded systems using tools like Altium,kikad Designer.

Validation & Debugging: Conduct hardware testing, validation, and debugging to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance with EMI/EMC standards.

Hardware-Software Integration: Collaborate with firmware engineers to define hardware specifications, integrate components, and troubleshoot system-level issues.

Documentation & Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation (schematics, BOMs, test reports) and ensure compliance with safety standards (e.g., FDA, ISO).

Prototyping & Production: Prototype, solder, and troubleshoot boards, and support the transition to manufacturing (design for manufacturability).


Required Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Experience: Proven experience in embedded hardware design, PCB layout, and microcontroller-based system development.

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Altium Designer, Eagle PCB, or similar CAD software.

Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design.

Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex, PIC, AVR).

Familiarity with communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, USB, CAN).

Debugging Skills: Expertise using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and multimeters.

Tools: Proficient with Git, GDB, and JTAG debugging tools.
