Smart Home Camera Prototype Development

We are developing a smart home security camera / video doorbell proof-of-concept for residential monitoring applications.

The system will stream RTSP video over Wi-Fi to AWS cloud infrastructure where AI inference will be performed. Edge AI processing is not required for the initial prototype.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and recommend suitable hardware platforms

• Select camera modules, processors, Wi-Fi solutions, microphones, speakers, and power components

• Define system architecture

• Develop prototype integration strategy

• Support RTSP streaming implementation

• Assist with hardware validation and testing

• Provide recommendations for future commercialization

• Raspberry Pi / ESP32 platforms

• Embedded Linux

• Wi-Fi devices

• IoT products

• Consumer electronics

Deliverables:

• Hardware architecture recommendation

• Component selection report

• Prototype BOM

• Integration plan

• Technical roadmap

This is an initial prototype project with potential follow-on work through commercialization.
