Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Embedded System Engineer role based in Delhi, India. The Embedded System Engineer will design, develop, and test embedded software and firmware. Daily responsibilities include working with microcontrollers and sensors, implementing and debugging low-level drivers, optimizing code for performance and power consumption, and integrating hardware and software components. The role involves collaborating with electronics and hardware teams on PCB bring-up, participating in design reviews, and contributing to system architecture decisions. The engineer will also document designs, support field trials, analyze device performance in real-world conditions, and help drive continuous improvements to product reliability and scalability.

Qualifications

  • Strong embedded software skills, including experience with Embedded Software development, C/C++ programming, and real-time or bare-metal systems.
  • Solid foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electronics, including understanding of circuits, sensors, microcontrollers, and basic hardware debugging.
  • Knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT) concepts, such as connectivity protocols, edge devices, and data communication between devices and cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on Software Development experience, including use of version control (e.g., Git), debugging tools, and structured development workflows.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with embedded development tools (e.g., IDEs, debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) and familiarity with low-power design considerations.
  • Ability to work on-site in Delhi, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and communicate technical concepts clearly in English.
  • Experience in field-deployed or rugged devices, sensor integration, or wildlife/agritech applications is an advantage.
