Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Embedded System Engineer role based in Chennai. The Embedded System Engineer will design, develop, and test embedded software and firmware for electronic products, from concept through production. Daily responsibilities include writing and debugging embedded C/C++ code, integrating software with hardware, performing board bring-up, and conducting unit and system-level testing. The role involves collaborating with hardware, electronics, and IoT teams to define system requirements, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues. The engineer will also contribute to documentation, participate in design reviews, support validation and certification activities, and assist in preparing systems for manufacturing and field deployment.

Qualifications

• Designing schematics and multi-layer PCBs using Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD, and other EDA tools for embedded and IoT applications.

• Developing embedded firmware in C/C++ and Embedded C for ESP32, STM32, ARM Cortex-M, and Arduino-based platforms.

• Integrating peripherals and communication protocols including UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Wi-Fi, BLE, and LoRa.

• Designing power electronics circuits including BMS, LDOs, buck converters, and performing power budget analysis.

• Performing PCB bring-up, hardware debugging, component-level validation, and production testing.

• Leading end-to-end product development from concept, prototyping, and testing to production handover.

• Preparing technical documentation including BOMs, test procedures, design reports, and manufacturing files.

Location : Chennai (Only Chennai-based candidates can apply)

Internship Type : Full-Time, Onsite

Stipend : ₹10,000/month for the first 3 months
