About Holoindustry

Holoindustry develops next-generation smart glasses and XR (Extended Reality) solutions , combining cutting-edge hardware, embedded software technologies. Our mission is to create wearable computing platforms that seamlessly connect the physical and digital worlds. We are looking for a Senior Embedded SoC Engineer to join our team and help design the core hardware and embedded Linux platform powering our future XR products.



What You'll Do

  • Select and evaluate System-on-Chip (SoC) platforms for XR and wearable computing applications.
  • Define system architectures and select suitable peripherals, sensors, connectivity modules, displays, cameras, and other components.
  • Design and review System-on-Module (SoM) , carrier board, or motherboard architectures.
  • Configure and maintain Linux Device Trees for embedded platforms.
  • Build, customize, and optimize Linux distributions using the Yocto Project .
  • Support hardware bring-up, debugging, validation, and performance optimization.
  • Work closely with software, AI, optics, and mechanical engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Analyze datasheets, reference designs, and technical documentation to drive engineering decisions.
  • Participate in prototyping and transitioning designs toward production.



Required Experience

We are interested in engineers who have practical experience in several of the following areas:

  • Linux Kernel Device Tree configuration and customization
  • Building and maintaining Linux-based embedded systems using Yocto
  • SoC evaluation and selection for embedded products
  • Peripheral selection and integration for SoC-based systems
  • SoM, carrier board, or motherboard design
  • Hardware/software integration and board bring-up
  • Working with common embedded interfaces such as SPI, I²C, UART, USB, Ethernet, PCIe, MIPI CSI/DSI, or similar
  • PCB design experience using tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, or Cadence



Nice to Have

  • Experience with ARM-based SoCs from vendors such as Qualcomm, NXP, AMD/Xilinx, TI, Rockchip, or similar
  • Linux kernel or driver development experience
  • Knowledge of camera systems, displays, sensors, wireless communication modules, or power management circuits
  • Experience with wearable devices, smart glasses, AR/VR/XR systems
