Responsibilities:

As an embedded systems engineer, you will have to design and integrate advanced electronic and software functions and technologies in rugged mechanical industrial and defense embedded devices.

Your main tasks will be as follows:

- Propose and implement modern IoT and AIoT architectures and applications, identifying the optimal integration and deployment mode and strategy.

- Identify and justify the choice of technologies suited to an application

- Drafting and ensuring the technical documents required for the development and integration of IoT applications

- Design and develop hardware platforms (CAD, DAO, routing - KIKAD)

- Design, production and integration of electronic hardware in mechanical enclosure

- Preparing and specifying EMC tests for equipment

- Developing embedded software

- Identifying and proposing mechatronics test and integration strategies (FUSION 360)

- Actively participate in the development, integration or implementation of applications

- Seek innovative solutions and co-supervise research on subjects requiring the deployment of IoT applications

- Deliver manufacturing assembly, plans, manufacturing files and production documentation

- Test and tune electronic hardware and system software to achieve successful integration

- Train and produce documents enabling the transfer of skills relating to your area of expertise

- Identify technological and scientific bottlenecks to propose development strategies

- Validate and characterize the performance of the solutions delivered

- Participate in the deployment of our solutions with the client

Profile:

You have a master degree or above in mechatronics with a specialization in embedded system or IoT. You have proven successful experience in embedded system development and integration.

Skills:

- Expertise in mechatronic development and integration of tools and platforms (Fusion 360, etc.)

- hardware design (both electronics and mechanical)

- RTOS and ARM based platforms

- Familiarity with electronic test tools and environments (network and spectrum analysers, etc.)

- Mechanical and material physical properties knowledge for system integration

- Solid knowledge of mechanical integration of embedded system deployed in harsh environments

- Good knowledge of integration requirements and constraints of electronic in embedded devices

- Mastery of mechanical production processes from prototype stage to mass production stage

- Knowledge of electronic integration tools and constraints and SMD integration methodologies and technologies (Gerber, Excellon, Chip Shooting)

- Knowledge in SCADA systems and IoT cloud services for IoT based system monitoring

- Software development for embedded systems

- Fluent in English (>B2)
