Job Title: ADAS Control Development Engineer

Location: Hamamatsu, Japan

Experience Required : 3+ years of experience in ADAS, automotive control systems, or vehicle system development.

Language Requirement : JLPT N3 and above

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced ADAS Control Development Engineer to support the design, development, and validation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) functions. The role involves creating and reviewing specifications, performing control verification, analyzing vehicle data, and validating system performance through simulations and actual vehicle testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop ADAS control functions and vehicle system functions.

• Create, review, and maintain control and communication specification documents.

• Perform control verification using actual vehicles and desk-based validation methods.

• Conduct HILS (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and MILS (Model-in-the-Loop) testing and verification.

• Measure, analyze, and optimize vehicle driving performance and characteristics when using control systems.

• Analyze test data and identify areas for performance improvement.

• Support system validation activities from specification development through final testing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system functionality and quality.

Required Skills:

• Experience in ADAS function development and vehicle control system development.

• Experience in creating, reviewing, and interpreting control specifications.

• Knowledge of vehicle communication and control systems.

• Experience in data analysis and validation activities.

• Ability to perform system verification and troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Simulink and C programming language.

• Experience with CAN tools such as CANoe or CANalyzer.

• Experience with HILS and MILS environments.

• Understanding of vehicle dynamics and control system performance evaluation.

• Experience in actual vehicle testing and performance analysis.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
