Embedded Software Engineer

As Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d) you work on cutting-edge embedded systems and firmware development in our R&D projects, creating innovative solutions from hardware-near programming to system integration.

Your Role

• Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d) in our R&D projects with engineering teams of 2-5 people
• Developing and implementing firmware solutions for embedded systems across various industries - from PoCs to production ready
• Working close to hardware with microcontrollers, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and low-level programming in C, C++ and Rust
• Contributing to hardware-software integration, debugging, and testing in an agile environment with a direct impact on the products and innovations of our customers
• Growing your expertise by learning new technologies and sharing knowledge within the team

Your Profile

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, Mechanical Engineering or similar disciplines with 1-3 years of experience in firmware development
• Strong knowledge of C, C++ programming and hands-on experience with microcontroller platforms (e.g., ARM Cortex, STM32, ESP32, RISC-V); Rust is a plus
• Solid understanding of low-level programming, memory management, interrupt handling, and hardware interfaces/communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB)
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and willingness to dive deep into technical challenges
• Team player with strong command of English language (both verbal and written), eager to learn and adapt to new technologies
