Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Battery Management Systems (BMS). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in low-level embedded software, driver development, and hands-on experience with BMS Basic Software (BSW) development, integration, debugging, and issue resolution . The candidate must have worked extensively with advanced Battery Monitoring AFEs and automotive-grade microcontrollers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain embedded software and driver-level software for BMS applications.
  • Hands-on experience with BMS Basic Software (BSW) development, integration, debugging, and issue resolution.
  • Design and develop BSP, HAL, and peripheral drivers for SPI, I2C, UART, CAN/CAN FD, ADC, GPIO, Timers, DMA, Flash, EEPROM, and Watchdog.
  • Integrate and debug Battery Monitoring AFEs, microcontrollers, and peripheral devices.
  • Perform board bring-up, software integration, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with hardware, system, and application teams to deliver robust embedded software.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of Embedded C development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in driver-level software development for automotive embedded systems.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with advanced Battery Monitoring AFEs (ADI ADBMS/LTC68xx or TI BQ796xx/BQ76952).
  • Hands-on experience with automotive microcontrollers such as Infineon AURIX, NXP S32K, Renesas RH850, STM32, or TI Hercules .
  • Strong knowledge of CAN/CAN FD, SPI, I2C, UART, interrupt handling, memory management, and hardware/software integration.
  • Experience with Lauterbach, J-Link, CANoe/CANalyzer, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
  • Familiarity with AUTOSAR, ASPICE, MISRA C, and ISO 26262 is preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
