Role Description
This full-time Embedded Software Engineer role is an on-site position based in Landau. The Embedded Software Engineer will design, implement, and test embedded software components for various products and systems. Daily tasks include writing and maintaining code, reviewing design specifications, performing debugging and troubleshooting, and collaborating with hardware and cross-functional engineering teams. The role also involves optimizing software performance, contributing to architectural decisions, documenting technical solutions, and supporting integration and validation activities to ensure reliable, high-quality embedded systems.

Candidates should possess strong skills in Embedded Software Programming and hands-on experience with Embedded Software development environments.

Candidates should possess skills in general Software Development, including coding standards, version control, and collaborative development practices.

Candidates should possess skills in Software Design, with the ability to create modular, maintainable architectures for embedded systems.

Candidates should possess skills in Debugging, including using tools and methods to analyze, test, and resolve software issues in embedded platforms.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Experience with C/C++ or similar programming languages commonly used in embedded systems.

Familiarity with microcontrollers, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and hardware-software integration.

Ability to work on-site in Landau, collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in English; German language skills are a plus.
