Oil Country Tubular Limited (OCTL) is expanding its engineering team and is looking for talented Embedded Software Engineer to join us in Hyderabad.

Embedded Software Engineer

🎓 Educational Qualification

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, or any other related engineering discipline from a recognized university.

💼 Experience: 3–5 Years

📍 Location: Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities & Technical Skills

✅ Embedded C/C++ programming for controller-based embedded systems for both Front end and backend.

✅ Hands-on experience with communication protocols: CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, UART, SPI, I²C & USB

✅ Vector tools: CANoe, CANalyzer and CANape

✅Experience interfacing with COTS modules (Encoders, Servo motors & Drives, GPS/ GSM-R communication modules, Gyros & other sensors)

✅ GHS Compiler, JTAG debuggers, test benches, simulators & in-circuit emulators

✅ Git/Bitbucket, JIRA and CI/CD development environment

✅ ASPICE-based software development, integration & functional testing

✅ Static code analysis using QAC and compliance with MISRA coding guidelines

✅ Strong debugging, root-cause analysis and hardware bring-up skills

✅Experience in developing System, Integration, and Functional Test Cases based on Functional & Design Requirements and participate in SDLC activities

✅ Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analysers and board-level debugging

✅ Hands-on experience in manual and automated functional testing on simulator and hardware benches.

✅Participate in factory integration, commissioning and field trials

✅Prepare and maintain engineering and safety documentation, including:

1.     SRS, SWRS, SAD/SDD

2.     Interface specifications (ICDs)

3.     Test specifications and reports
