Sr. Embedded Software Test Engineer

As a Sr. Embedded Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test strategies for embedded software, firmware, and hardware-integrated products. This role requires a strong understanding of system-level verification, including analyzing requirements, creating detailed test cases, defining test protocols, executing manual and automated tests, documenting results, and troubleshooting defects through root-cause analysis. You will use command-line tools, log files, physical probing, and other electrical or mechanical test methods as needed to validate product performance, ensure quality, and minimize defects. You will also prepare clear and accurate test reports that summarize execution results, defects, trends, corrective actions, and verification outcomes for cross-functional review and regulatory submission support. Collaboration with engineering, quality, and project teams is essential to align testing activities, communicate timelines and results, and continuously improve test methods and overall product quality.

This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. Roles typically require a university degree or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience. Job requires an understanding and application of procedures and concepts of own discipline. The job requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and a minimum of 2 or more years of experience.
Experience Must Have:

Analyze requirements and create detailed test cases/ Test plans /Test protocols (2-5 yrs)

Manual and Automated testing of Embedded systems and document results(especially HW and SW/FW) (2 yrs)

Troubleshoot defects and find root cause analysis and verify outcomes (2-5 yrs)
Experience Nice to Have:

Education:
Bachelors degree in Electrical, Computers or equivalent preferred with minimum of 2-5 yrs experience
