Step into a high-impact role at a global center of excellence where you will design and drive the software architecture for business-critical electronic devices. Working within a multidisciplinary R&D team, you will leverage Embedded C and C++ to bring next-generation measurement technologies to life, managing the complete lifecycle from initial requirements through to validation.

The Role

• Lead the design, development, and support of robust embedded software for high-precision electronic instrumentation.
• Take full ownership of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements capturing, architecture design, and final release validation.
• Collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration of firmware and electronic components.
• Implement real-time functionalities using FreeRTOS to manage complex device tasks and data processing.
• Drive continuous improvement in code quality through rigorous testing, validation, and approval processes.
  
  

What You'll Need

• Substantial commercial experience in Embedded Software Development with a focus on high-reliability systems.
• Expert-level proficiency in Embedded C and C++ for microcontrollers and dedicated hardware platforms.
• Demonstrated experience across the full SDLC, specifically within an R&D or product development environment.
• Technical familiarity with Real-Time Operating Systems, specifically FreeRTOS or similar RTOS environments.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to capture complex technical requirements from stakeholders.
