Embedded Software Engineer

Role Overview:

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to build reliable, real-time software platforms for UAVs and robotic systems. You will work close to hardware, sensors, radios, and compute modules and develop mission-critical onboard software.

Responsibilities:

l  Develop embedded software in C/C++ for Linux and microcontrollers

l  Write and maintain drivers for sensors, cameras, radios, and peripherals

l  Implement communication stacks between onboard modules

l  Build boot, update, and health-monitoring systems

l  Optimize performance, latency, and reliability

l  Work on multi-process, multi-threaded real-time systems

l  Support hardware bring-up, debugging, and field testing

l  Implement logging, blackbox recording, and diagnostics systems

Required Skills:

l  Strong C/C++ on embedded Linux and/or microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32, etc.)

l  Good understanding of OS concepts: processes, threads, memory, IPC

l  Experience with UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet

l  Debugging using gdb, logic analyzer, oscilloscope

l  Familiar with build systems (CMake, Make, Yocto or Buildroot)

Good to Have:

l  Experience with real-time systems

l  Experience with camera pipelines, encoders, or video streaming

l  Experience with bootloaders, OTA updates

l  Experience in robotics or UAVs

Experience Level: 2–6 years (or strong project background)
