Job Description

AUTSORSA is a fast-growing company founded and based in Bulgaria that serves clients from all over the world, providing business outsourcing, outstaffing and HR services.

Our client is an innovative deep-tech startup in the aerospace sector, focused on developing advanced airborne sensing solutions for autonomous and remotely operated aircraft. Their goal is to enhance next-generation aviation platforms with intelligent sensing technologies—making operations safer, more efficient, and data-driven.

Currently we are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to design and develop real-time embedded software solutions for advanced airborne radar and sensing systems.

Your Role:

  • Develop and maintain low-level drivers for hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and Ethernet
  • Implement real-time scheduling mechanisms and efficient data processing pipelines
  • Build reliable, fault-tolerant software for mission-critical airborne applications
  • Configure and optimize DMA operations and interrupt-driven workflows
  • Troubleshoot and debug firmware using JTAG/SWD and logic analysis tools
  • Support hardware bring-up and ensure seamless hardware-software integration
  • Collaborate closely with hardware and RF teams during system integration
  • Participate in field testing and flight validation activities

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in real-time embedded software development
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills for low-level and resource-constrained environments
  • Experience working with hardware communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet)
  • Practical experience developing device drivers and board support packages
  • Understanding of DMA and interrupt-based system design
  • Hands-on experience with debugging tools such as JTAG/SWD
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and technical documentation

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with SoC-based platforms (e.g., Xilinx Zynq, TI Sitara)
  • Familiarity with embedded Linux systems
  • Exposure to aerospace or safety-critical development environments
  • Knowledge of real-time signal processing architectures

What We Offer:

  • Opportunity to contribute to critical airborne systems with real-world impact
  • Involvement in cutting-edge aerospace and deep-tech innovation
  • Hands-on experience with flight testing and system integration
  • Attractive compensation package with potential for equity participation
