POSITION OVERVIEW :

Rajant is seeking an Embedded Linux Software Engineer to further the development of Rajant’s industry-leading mesh networking products. This is a full-time , in-person position at our office in Malvern, PA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing, maintaining, and integrating applications and services on Linux-based wireless networking devices.
• Working with stakeholders to elicit, refine, and document application and service requirements.
• Assisting with maintenance of automated testing infrastructure.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical experience is preferred.
• Several years’ experience programming in C and C++ on Linux.
• Familiarity with embedded build environments (OpenWRT a plus).
• Experience debugging, modifying, and upgrading open source projects.
• Experience with software that interfaces with hardware peripherals.
• Networking and network programming experience.
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting abilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• RF experience, particularly WiFi.
• Experience programming Linux device drivers (or other OS kernel-level experience).
• Reverse engineering experience; specifically, ability to work with incomplete or no documentation.
• Able to obtain a Security Clearance.
• Familiarity with: Google Protocol Buffers • Python 3 • GoogleTest • Jenkins
