What you can look forward to

  • You work with Linux-based systems in measurement technology and on automotive control units, and navigate them safely via the command line.
  • You set up and routinely use SSH connections between measuring computers and control units, including file transfers via SCP.
  • You analyze and extend existing Bash scripts while developing Python scripts to automate test and measurement processes.
  • In this role, you will contribute your understanding of the fundamental structure of Linux systems – from file systems and processes to services.

What are our expectations

  • You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable field of study.
  • You are proficient in using Linux in the terminal and know basic Bash commands.
  • You obviously use SSH and SCP.
  • You can read existing Bash scripts and confidently implement minor adjustments.
  • Furthermore, you have good Python skills for scripting, automation and basic data processing.
  • A basic understanding of Linux architecture completes your profile.
  • You speak fluent German and good English
