Embedded IoT Engineer

360Watts is building intelligent energy systems combining solar, IoT, edge computing, and energy management software.

We are looking for an IoT product engineer who enjoys building embedded IoT devices with edge/cloud and AI functionalities — from prototype to field deployment and with passion for both firmware and hardware.

>> YOUR JOB:

• Develop IoT products including both firmware and hardware, using edge-computing hardware (ESP32-S3, STM32, Linux-based)
• Integrate with diverse communication systems (Modbus, RS485, MQTT, Wi-Fi, LTE, LoRaWAN, Thread, etc).
• Build OTA, remote diagnostics, logging, and recovery mechanisms.
• Conduct field testing, root-cause analysis and push towards stable working versions.
• Collaborate on custom PCB development, enclosure design and push towards market-ready products.
• Work on future edge intelligence and AI-enabled energy ideas.

>> WHAT YOU BRING:

• Open to early-career engineers (1–3 years) with strong hands-on project experience and ownership mindset.
• Built and deployed connected devices in the field
• Hands-on experience with ESP32-S3/C6, STM32, or custom PCB design
• Implemented OTA updates, watchdogs, logging, and remote debugging
• Worked with Wi-Fi, LTE, MQTT, RS485, Modbus
• Strong ownership mindset and product thinking
• Ability to evaluate when to use existing modules vs custom hardware

• We look for someone who can do both, write firmware AND build hardware.

>> JOB DETAILS:

• Immediate start or from 01.07.2026
• Salary starts from Rs. 30000 and extend to 35k (post 3-month probation period)
• On-site and field visits (in Coimbatore)
