Job Description

About Odine

At Odine , we connect the world — wherever the network lives.

Our technology powers intelligent, cloud-native, and AI-driven network solutions that enable global connectivity and digital transformation across telecom operators, enterprises, and ecosystem partners.

As part of our next-generation innovation roadmap, we are developing a cutting-edge agentic AI platform that enables seamless interaction between end devices and intelligent edge nodes. To support this vision, we are looking for an Embedded Hardware & RF Engineer who is ready to go All In — combining deep firmware expertise with RF and low-power system knowledge to build high-performance hardware-software ecosystems.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Embedded Hardware & RF Engineer to join our team working on an advanced IoT and Edge AI platform. The system integrates wearable smart devices with an Edge Computing Gateway (ECG), enabling real-time wireless communication, sensor fusion, and on-device AI inference.

In this role, you will own the full hardware development and integration lifecycle - from schematic design and PCB bring-up through RF characterization and system-level testing - working closely with embedded software, RF, and AI teams.

If you thrive in environments where hardware and software meet RF physics, and you enjoy turning prototype boards into production-grade systems, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Lead hardware design, PCB bring-up, and integration across a multi-board embedded platform (STM32WL-based wearable nodes + NVIDIA Jetson-based gateway)
  • Design, test, and optimize RF subsystems operating in the sub 1GHz ISM bands, including antenna integration, RF layout review, and link budget analysis
  • Characterize RF performance using VNA, spectrum analyzers, and power meters; identify and resolve issues across the full signal chain
  • Collaborate with embedded software team to support firmware bring-up, hardware abstraction, and driver-level debugging
  • Manage hardware test plans and verification procedures across multiple PCB assemblies and development phases
  • Support regulatory compliance testing (ETSI EN 300 220) and work toward product certification milestones
  • Participate in field testing and integration sessions, ensuring robust real-world performance across environmental conditions
  • Contribute to hardware architecture decisions, BOM management, and supplier qualification

What You'll Bring

  • Solid experience in embedded hardware design — schematics, PCB layout, and board bring-up
  • Strong background in RF system design and testing in sub-GHz ISM bands (868 MHz / 915 MHz experience preferred)
  • Hands-on proficiency with RF lab equipment: VNA, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators
  • Familiarity with STM32 MCU families; STM32WL (sub-GHz + Cortex-M4 combo) experience is a strong plus
  • Understanding of wireless protocols and RF MAC layers (FHSS, LBT, duty-cycle management, ETSI regulations)
  • Experience managing multi-phase PCB development programs with external suppliers and CM partners
  • Ability to read and debug firmware at the hardware abstraction layer (C/C++, register-level debugging)
  • Good written and spoken English

Nice to Have

  • Experience with NVIDIA Jetson or similar edge AI hardware platforms
  • Familiarity with ISM band regulatory frameworks (ETSI EN 300 220, CE/RED certification)
  • Background in low-power and battery-operated device design
  • Exposure to secure hardware design (secure boot, hardware-backed key storage, TPM)
  • Experience with sensor fusion systems (IMU, environmental sensors, capacitive interfaces)
  • Proficiency with modern engineering workflows (Git, hardware versioning, test documentation)
  • Strong documentation and design-review discipline
