About Wave's Tech Global:
At Wave's Tech Global, we are pushing the boundaries of modern technology by developing cutting-edge hardware solutions. We are a fast-growing team focused on innovation, high-quality engineering, and scalable product architecture. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and love bringing physical products to life from schematic to production, we want you on our team.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Embedded Hardware Engineer to join our engineering division. In this role, you will own the hardware lifecycle, including schematic capture, multilayer PCB layout, component selection, and initial board bring-up. You will work closely with firmware and software teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration for our next-generation products.
What You Will Do:
-
Circuit Design:
Design and develop schematic diagrams for mixed-signal, digital, and power management circuits.
-
PCB Layout:
Create reliable, manufacturable, and high-performance multilayer PCB layouts using Altium Designer (or similar EDA tools).
-
Component Selection:
Source and evaluate electronic components considering cost, availability, and technical constraints.
-
Prototyping & Bring-up:
Assemble, test, and debug initial prototype boards using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
-
Collaboration:
Partner with firmware engineers to validate hardware functionality and optimize low-level driver performance.
-
Documentation:
Generate comprehensive hardware design documentation, Bill of Materials (BOM), and manufacturing files (Gerbers).
What We Are Looking For:
-
Experience:
2+ years of proven experience in hardware design, PCB layout, and hardware prototyping.
-
EDA Tools:
Strong proficiency in Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad (Altium preferred).
-
Hardware Concepts:
Solid understanding of power supplies (Buck/Boost converters), microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32, or ARM Cortex), and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART).
-
Lab Skills:
Hands-on experience with hardware debugging tools and soldering components for prototyping.
-
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Bonus Points If You Have:
-
Experience with RF/wireless circuit design (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa).
-
Knowledge of signal integrity and EMI/EMC compliance testing.
-
Basic ability to write or understand low-level C firmware.
What We Offer:
-
Competitive salary and performance-based growth.
-
Flexible working arrangements.
-
Collaborative and innovative startup culture.
-
Opportunity to work with modern, high-tech hardware tools and frameworks.
