Job Description

Embedded Hardware Engineer – Electronics Product Development

Location: On-site (Bhiwadi, Rajasthan)

Employment Type: Full-time (paid probation / internship-to-hire possible)

Experience Level: Fresher to 2 years

CTC Range: ₹4.5 – ₹6.0 LPA (skill-based)

About the Role

Hi everyone, I’m building something real. I’m looking for my first team member: a fresher Embedded Systems Engineer to join me in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan.

We are developing smart electronics for motorcycles (starting with Royal Enfield, and then TVS/Bajaj/Honda) with plans to expand into home automation, IoT, consumer fabrication, and industrial products.

You’ll get to work directly with me on real hardware; circuit design, PCB development, component selection, and bring real products to life.

We are a small, product-focused team building a commercial embedded electronics system involving microcontrollers, power electronics, and hardware integration.

This role is suited for someone who is results-oriented, enjoys hands-on electronics work, and wants to participate in end-to-end product development, not just isolated tasks.

Specific project details will be shared after initial screening.

What You Will Work On

  • Designing and reviewing electronic schematics
  • PCB design and layout (2–4 layer boards)
  • Microcontroller bring-up and peripheral interfacing
  • Power electronics and protection circuits
  • Prototyping, testing, and iteration on physical hardware
  • Supporting product development from early prototype to refined build

You will be expected to own tasks, deliver working outputs, and meet agreed deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Hardware & PCB

  • Develop and review schematics for:
  • MCU-based control electronics
  • Power regulation, switching, and protection
  • Design PCBs with attention to:
  • Power integrity
  • Noise and EMI fundamentals
  • Manufacturability and iteration speed
  • Support prototype assembly and bring-up

Embedded Systems

  • Assist with MCU configuration and pin mapping
  • Interface peripherals such as GPIO, ADC, PWM, and communication interfaces
  • Support firmware bring-up and basic testing

Testing & Debugging

  • Perform structured bench testing
  • Identify issues, debug systematically, and propose fixes
  • Document results clearly and concisely

What We Are Looking For (Mindset & Behavior)

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Works well with a team
  • Results-oriented: You focus on getting things working, not just “trying”
  • Deadline-aware: You can plan your work and deliver on time
  • Deep interest in electronics: You enjoy working with circuits, boards, and hardware
  • Ownership mentality: You take responsibility for what you build
  • Curiosity-driven: You want to understand why something works or fails
  • Product mindset: You care about reliability, usability, and iteration

Required Skills (Core)

You should be comfortable with most of the following:

  • Fundamentals of analog and digital electronics
  • Schematic capture
  • At least one PCB design tool:
  • KiCad, Altium, EasyEDA, or similar
  • Basic microcontroller concepts
  • Hands-on use of:
  • Multimeter
  • Bench power supply

Nice to Have (Strong Plus)

  • Experience with communication buses or protocols
  • Prior PCB manufacturing or assembly experience
  • Exposure to power electronics or high-current design
  • Interest in 3D modeling (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, FreeCAD)
  • Interest in 3D printing and rapid prototyping
  • Curiosity about how hardware, firmware, and mechanical design come together in a product

Who Will Do Well Here

You will likely thrive if you:

  • Prefer building and debugging over presentations
  • Enjoy working on physical systems
  • Can manage your time and meet commitments
  • Want to grow with a product and take increasing ownership

What This Role Is NOT

  • Not a pure software role
  • Not a remote position
  • Not a services or consulting job
  • Not a large corporate environment

Compensation & Growth

  • Paid probation or internship option available
  • First months salary and
  • Full-time conversion based on demonstrated output
  • Salary growth tied to responsibility and delivery
  • Opportunity to grow into senior, lead, or product-focused engineering roles

How to Apply

Please share:

  1. Resume (concise is fine)
  2. Any examples of electronics, hardware, or product work you’ve done (photos, links, or brief descriptions)
  3. A short note answering: “What kind of electronics or product work do you enjoy most, and why?”
