They are expanding their engineering team to build scalable, high-performance embedded networking solutions powering this ecosystem.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Embedded Firmware Engineer with deep expertise in Embedded Linux and Networking Systems to develop firmware for next-generation wireless and switching platforms.

This role sits at the intersection of firmware, networking, and cloud-managed infrastructure, with a strong focus on enterprise hospitality environments.

Key Responsibilities

Firmware & System Development

* Design, develop, and maintain firmware for enterprise Wi-Fi Access Points and Networking Devices

* Build embedded networking functionality for high-performance, large-scale deployments

* Develop secure device provisioning, firmware upgrade (OTA), and lifecycle management systems

* Implement networking services and device-level management features

Networking & Performance Optimization

* Develop and optimize TCP/IP networking stacks and services

* Enhance wireless roaming, client connectivity, and network reliability

* Troubleshoot and resolve complex network performance and stability issues

* Work on high-density networking environments (hotels, conference venues, etc.)

Telemetry & Cloud Integration

* Integrate device-level Telemetry and Monitoring Frameworks

* Enable seamless integration with Cloud-Managed Networking Platforms

* Collaborate with cloud, hardware, and platform engineering teams

Media & Multicast Optimization

* Build and optimize solutions for hospitality media environments including IPTV and streaming

* Implement multicast and traffic optimization features such as:

* IGMP

* QoS (Quality of Service)

* mDNS / Bonjour forwarding

* Traffic prioritization

* Multicast-to-unicast conversion

* Troubleshoot media delivery in high-load and multi-device environments

Required Qualifications

* 4+ years of experience in Embedded Firmware or Embedded Software Development

* Strong proficiency in C/C++

* Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux systems

* Solid understanding of:

* TCP/IP networking

* Enterprise wireless systems

* Network security and device management

* Experience developing firmware for:

* Wi-Fi Access Points

* Routers / Switches

* Embedded Networking Devices

* Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with OpenWRT, Yocto, or Linux Kernel Development

* Familiarity with OTA Firmware Systems and Telemetry Platforms

* Exposure to Enterprise Wireless Deployments and Cloud-Managed Networking

* Experience in Multicast Networking and Media Optimization

* Background in Hospitality Tech, IPTV, or Event Networking Environments
