What is your new role:

• Design and implement firmware for our award-wining alarm communicators, panels, and next-gen IoT devices .
• Work with technologies such as wide-area cell networks (4G-LTE, 5G), local mesh networks (ZWave, Zigbee), smart sensors and other peripheral security and home automation devices .
• Perform end-to-end design , development and implementation of firmware across a range of devices .
• Improve the design and performance of the existing code, fix bugs and perform code refactoring.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize code efficiency.
• Work with a scrum-based approach in an agile environment, including pair programming.
• Perform analogue and digital data analysis with oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, etc.
• Work together with the manufacturing teams to ensure requirements from both sides are met.

What it takes:

• Programming proficiency in C ;
• Good understanding of micro-controllers and embedded systems ;
• Bachelor or Master’s in Computer science, Electronics, Informatics or other related field;
• RTOS or similar operating system application development experience is an advantage;
• Experience with ST Microcontrollers, GSM modules, or IoT devices are also considered as an advantage;
