Role Description
The Embedded Firmware Developer will design, develop, and maintain firmware for embedded systems used in Geatpec’s electronic products. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing and testing firmware features, debugging hardware–software integration issues, and optimizing code for performance and reliability. The role involves close collaboration with hardware engineers and product designers to translate requirements into robust embedded solutions, as well as preparing technical documentation and supporting product validation and field issues. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, requiring regular interaction with cross-functional teams and participation in lab-based development and testing activities.
Qualifications

Strong proficiency in embedded programming languages (such as C/C++) and experience with microcontroller or microprocessor-based systems.

Solid understanding of firmware architecture, RTOS or bare-metal development, and hardware–software interfacing (GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C, etc.).

Experience with electronics fundamentals, schematics, and using lab equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter) for debugging.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and standard development workflows, including code reviews and continuous integration.

Ability to write clear technical documentation and work collaboratively with hardware, design, and manufacturing teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent practical experience is also valued.

Previous experience in product development, EMS, or manufacturing-oriented environments is an advantage.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and readiness to work on-site in New Delhi in a hands-on lab setting.
