Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for an Embedded, FPGA & SDR Engineer / Lead. The role involves designing, implementing, and testing embedded software and firmware for real-time and signal-processing applications, with a strong focus on FPGA-based systems and Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms. The engineer will develop and optimize HDL code, integrate embedded processors, and work on board-level bring-up, debugging, and performance tuning. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with hardware, RF, and software teams, contributing to system architecture, reviewing designs and code, and preparing technical documentation and test plans. The Lead-level responsibilities may also include mentoring team members, participating in project planning, and interfacing with customers to understand technical requirements and provide engineering support.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Candidates should possess business development capabilities to understand customer requirements, participate in technical presentations, and help align engineering solutions with customer needs.
  • Solid experience in embedded systems design, including C/C++ for microcontrollers/SoCs, RTOS or bare-metal development, and debugging using standard tools (JTAG, Spectrum Analyzers).
  • Hands-on expertise in FPGA design and verification using VHDL/Verilog, familiarity with major FPGA toolchains (e.g., Xilinx, Intel/Altera), and experience with high-speed interfaces and timing closure.
  • Experience with RF/SDR architectures, digital signal processing concepts, and implementation of signal-processing chains on FPGA/SoC platforms.
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple technical tasks, and take ownership of deliverables
