Embedded Engineer II (Elster, Gas Measurement, IOT, Network domain testing, Software testing and automation)

Description

Design / Build custom test fixtures and tools
Design / Implement test automation infrastructure
Subject matter expert on Elster, Gas Measurement, IOT, Network domain testing, Software testing and automation etc.
Create test scripts that meet the team definition of done
Run automated regressions, review failures, make adjustment to scripts as needed.
Troubleshoot and Maintain existing test fixtures. Includes debugging hardware and software
Able to work in Firmware Verification, System / Product Verification or Solution Verification
Work with cross functional agile teams located at multiple Honeywell locations around the globe

Qualifications

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronic engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
2 to 3 Years of experience in Embedded product testing and validation
2 years’ Experience with Object Oriented programming

Python Scripting and LabView
Elster, Gas Measurement, IOT, Network domain testing, Software testing and automation etc.
Experience with software management tools (SVN, GIT, Bitbucket, etc.)
Ability to work well with others in a team environment
Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Able to adapt and solve problems in an unstructured environment, with minimal supervision
Preferred - Experience with Embedded Systems (testing or developing)
Preferred – Embedded Product Testing Experience (Elster, Gas Measurement, IOT, Network domain testing, Software testing and automation etc.)
Preferred – Experience on Web automation and desktop application automation
Preferred – Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (Jira, Rally, etc.)
