Job Description

Qualifications

  • Test Automation Engineer
    • Description
      • Design / Build custom test fixtures and tools
      • Design / Implement test automation infrastructure
      • Create test plan, that flushes out test strategy, coverage requirements, test scenarios and the resource needs for a project. Review test plans with cross functional team (Development and other Test Engineers) to ensure proper coverage for each feature / product.
      • Create test scripts that meet the team definition of done
      • Run automated regressions, review failures, make adjustment to scripts as needed.
      • Troubleshoot and Maintain existing test fixtures. Includes debugging hardware and software
      • Able to work in Software verification, System / Product Verification or Solution Verification
      • Work with cross functional agile teams located at multiple Honeywell locations around the globe
    • Requirements
      • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
      • 2 to 3 Years of experience in Embedded product testing and validation
      • 1-2 years’ Experience with Object Oriented programming
        • Python Scripting
        • C++/C#
      • Experience with software management tools ( SVN, GIT, Bitbucket, etc. )
      • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
      • Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
      • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, interpersonal and organizational skills.
      • Able to adapt and solve problems in an unstructured environment, with minimal supervision
      • Preferred - Experience with Embedded Systems (testing or developing)
      • Preferred – Electric Metering Experience ( ANSI, C12.22, DLMS)
      • Preferred – Network Communication ( Cellular, IPv4, IPv6, NBiOT, RF )
      • Preferred – PC troubleshooting / maintenance experience
      • Preferred – Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools ( Jira, Rally, etc. )
      • Preferred – Hardware test, design, or debug experience. Ability to solder
      • Preferred – Willing to work as Scrum Master, Product Owner or Agile Team Lead
