Job Description:
We are seeking a Model-Based Development (MBD)/ Embedded Software Engineer to support the development of automotive control systems using MATLAB/Simulink. The role involves system and software design, model development, verification, and validation activities throughout the development lifecycle. The successful candidate will contribute to Model-Based Development (MBD) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) projects, including system modeling, control algorithm development, SIL/MIL/HIL verification, and development environment management.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop system specifications and MBSE models for automotive control systems.

Design software and control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink.

Create control specifications, control models, and software design documentation.

Develop verification specifications and execute model verification using: Model-in-the-Loop (MIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), Vehicle testing

Support the setup, operation, and maintenance of the Model-Based Development (MBD) environment.

Develop and maintain MATLAB scripts for automation and tool support.

Perform model source/version management and software builds.

Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the system development lifecycle.
Must Requirements:

Experience designing and developing control systems using MATLAB/Simulink.

Experience with Model-Based Development (MBD).

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Ability to create technical documentation in Japanese.
Preferred Requirements:

Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).

Experience in automotive system development.

Experience in control system design or control system evaluation.

Experience with SIL, MIL, HIL, or vehicle-level verification.

Experience developing MATLAB scripts or automation tools.

Knowledge of model version control and software build management.

Certification or training in handling low-voltage electrical systems.
