Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and talented Embedded Engineer to join our R&D team. The candidate will be responsible for developing firmware and embedded solutions for industrial controllers, process instrumentation products, and automation systems. The role requires close interaction with hardware design, testing, and manufacturing teams to develop robust and reliable products.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded firmware for industrial electronic products.
Develop software for microcontroller-based systems using Embedded C.
Work on PID temperature controllers, process controllers, timers, counters, and automation products.
Interface thermocouples, RTDs (Pt-100), analog inputs, digital I/O, displays, keypads, relays, SSRs, and communication modules.
Develop and debug communication protocols including:
Modbus RTU
RS-485
UART
SPI
I²C
CAN (preferred)
Participate in hardware reviews and assist in schematic and PCB design verification.
Perform product testing, validation, calibration, and troubleshooting.
Optimize firmware for speed, memory utilization, and long-term reliability.
Prepare firmware documentation, test procedures, and technical reports.
Support production, service, and customer support teams in resolving technical issues.
Investigate field failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Participate in new product development projects from concept to production.
Required Qualifications
B.E. / B.Tech. / Diploma in Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Embedded Systems, or equivalent.
0–5 years of experience in embedded firmware development.
Strong knowledge of Embedded C programming.
Experience with ARM Cortex, STM32, PIC, AVR, ESP32, or similar microcontrollers.
Good understanding of analog and digital electronics.
Familiarity with ADCs, DACs, signal conditioning circuits, and sensor interfacing.
Experience using debugging tools such as:
Oscilloscope
Logic Analyzer
Multimeter
In-Circuit Debuggers
Preferred Skills
Experience in industrial automation or process instrumentation.
Knowledge of PID control algorithms and temperature measurement systems.
Understanding of thermocouple and RTD signal processing.
Experience with SMPS-powered embedded systems.
Knowledge of FreeRTOS or other RTOS platforms.
Familiarity with Altium Designer or PCB design tools.
Knowledge of EMC/EMI and industrial product compliance requirements.
