Role Description This is a full-time Embedded Engineer role based in Ahmedabad in a hybrid work model, combining on-site collaboration with the flexibility of partial work from home. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain embedded software and firmware for a variety of connected devices and platforms. You will work closely with hardware engineers to bring up new boards, integrate drivers, and optimize system performance for power, reliability, and security. Daily responsibilities include writing and reviewing embedded code, debugging issues at board and system level, and contributing to BSPs, RTOS-based solutions, and IoT-enabled products. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, participate in design reviews, and support testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of development processes.
Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Embedded Software Programming and Embedded Software development for microcontrollers and SoCs.
  • Hands-on experience with Debugging embedded systems, including use of hardware debuggers, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
  • Proficiency in Software Development practices, including version control (e.g., Git), code reviews, and structured documentation.
  • Knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT) concepts, protocols, and architectures for connected devices.
  • Experience with C/C++ for embedded platforms; familiarity with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr) or Linux-based embedded systems.
  • Understanding of hardware–software interaction, including reading schematics and working with board bring-up.
  • Ability to analyze and optimize system performance, memory usage, and power consumption.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, hybrid environment.
