Embedded Engineering Intern
, you will work closely with the hardware and cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and validate hardware components for smart glasses. You will gain hands-on experience in innovative waveguide display integration, embedded system design, and hardware-software co-design.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of hardware for XR smart glasses.

Prototype and test hardware components such as optics, sensors, power management, and embedded electronics.

Collaborate with software engineers to ensure hardware-software integration.

Support debugging and validation of hardware units.

Document design processes, test results, and support iterative improvements.

Research emerging hardware technologies related to XR and augmented reality.
Required Skills

Basic knowledge in electronics, embedded systems, and optics.

Understanding of hardware prototyping tools (e.g., PCB design software, oscilloscopes, multimeters).

Interest in XR, augmented/virtual reality, or wearable tech.

Problem-solving attitude and a passion for hardware innovation.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
Educational Background

Enrollment or degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Experience or coursework in waveguide optics or display technology is a plus.

Familiarity with embedded programming (C/C++) and hardware interfacing.

Exposure to sensor integration and power management design.

Final-year students or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Internship/Probation
(first 3-6 months): You’ll join as a full‑time intern with a fixed stipend, reflecting that this phase is focused on learning, mentoring, and evaluating mutual fit. You still work on real product features, get access to the same tools and reviews as the core team, and receive clear feedback on what’s needed to convert to full‑time. Internship duration varies based on performance.
