Embedded Engineer 3

PROLIM is seeking an Embedded Engineer 3 to support one of our top clients, Northrop Grumman Corporation, in Chandler, Arizona.

Schedule: 40 Hours/Week (9/80 Work Schedule)

Must Have

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (Current)
• U.S. Citizenship

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and test real-time embedded software
• Develop Object-Oriented software using C/C++ in Linux environments
• Support software architecture, coding, integration, verification, validation, and testing activities
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize embedded applications running on RTOS platforms
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver mission-critical aerospace solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 3+ years of embedded software development experience
• Strong programming experience in C/C++
• Experience developing software in Linux environments
• Hands-on experience with embedded real-time software and RTOS (VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, Yocto Linux, or equivalent)
• Experience with the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience

• PowerPC, ARM, or RISC-V processor architectures
• Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and/or Computer-in-the-Loop (CIL) testing
• Experience supporting weapon system integration efforts
• Aerospace or defense industry experience
