  • Active TS/SCI required prior to start

  • Hands‑on experience with embedded Linux (kernel, device‑tree, drivers), custom boot loaders, and standard debug tool‑chains such as: Linux kernel, device‑tree, kernel modules, U‑Boot, Coreboot, bootloader, cross‑compiler, JTAG, SWD

Job Description

You will be an Embedded Cyber Software Engineer for a research and development team which is responsible for investigating and exploiting the newest technological advances to resolve complex problems.

What You Will Be Doing

As an Embedded Cyber Software Engineer, you will be responsible for crafting innovative solutions to complex cyber software engineering problems, collaborating closely with customers throughout the development life-cycle, and contributing to a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Researching and developing new software and hardware technologies with a cyber lens to resolve complex problems.
  • Integrate security considerations throughout the software development lifecycle (threat modeling, hardening, code reviews, vulnerability assessments).
  • Collaborating with customers throughout the development life-cycle to ensure innovative solutions meet their needs.
  • Contributing to a team environment that values innovation, creativity, and teamwork.
  • Participating in the development of outstanding team culture, quickly adapting to evolving customer requirements.

  • Analog & digital circuit design – Schematic capture, PCB layout, signal‑integrity analysis, EAGLE/KiCad/Altium, mixed‑signal troubleshooting.
  • RF & wireless fundamentals – RF front‑end concepts, antennas, BLE, Wi‑Fi, LoRa, modulation, filtering.
  • Protocol analysis & reverse‑engineering – UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, Ethernet, USB, Wireshark, Saleae, PulseView, custom protocol decoding.
  • Digital signal processing (DSP) – FIR/IIR filters, fixed‑point arithmetic, real‑time audio/video processing, FFT.
  • Rapid prototyping & development kits – Breadboarding, 3‑D printing, CNC machining, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone, System‑on‑Module (SoM).
  • Software‑engineering best practices – Git, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI), code reviews, unit testing, Agile/Scrum, documentation.
  • Communication & teamwork – Technical writing, presentations, cross‑functional collaboration, mentorship, knowledge sharing.
