Embedded Controls Systems Engineer

We have a position for an experienced embedded controls systems engineer to develop, validate, and calibrate new engine control features.
What you will be doing:

New product development and/or tailoring of current product, including control feature requirements development, bench validation, calibration development, engine validation, software and calibration review and release.
Electronic control modules (ECMs)
Datalinks (CAN, J1939)

Actuators Sensors Harnesses Engine control system features Engine protection and diagnostics Emissions control features and associated regulatory documentation

This role would also involve testing on open/closed loop bench and engine test cell support .

This role involves cross functional work, so clarity in communication is a necessity.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the following areas:

Electronics OR controls background

Embedded C Software development
-
Matlab Simulink development and Simulink simulation

Datalinks (CAN, J1939)

INSITE, CALTERM, CDM, Data Analysis, CAN tools etc.

Critical thinking

Good communicator - written and verbal

What you'll need to be successful:

College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines. Mechanical Engineering degree HIGHLY preferred as well as 2 or more years of hands-on experience.

Fundamental understanding of the internal combustion engines

Embedded C Software experience is required

Matlab SIMULINK experience is desired

Experience in communicating and presenting technical content with external customers preferred.

PTC Integrity/Windchill RV&S experience is highly desired
