About the Role
GI View is seeking an experienced Electronics Hardware Engineer to join our multidisciplinary R&D team.
This position requires a minimum of 3 years of hands-on professional experience in electronics hardware development.
We are looking exclusively for engineers with practical experience in electronic circuits, PCB/PCBA development, testing, debugging, component-level troubleshooting, and laboratory work.

Candidates must have a strong electronics hardware background and be comfortable working directly with PCBs, electronic components, laboratory equipment, soldering, and hardware troubleshooting.
Responsibilities

Develop, integrate, test, and troubleshoot electronic systems used in medical devices.

Define, document, and manage system and subsystem requirements.

Perform component characterization, verification, validation, and technical documentation.

Collaborate with hardware engineers, PCB designers, and manufacturing suppliers.

Support system integration, debugging, and root-cause analysis.

Conduct hands-on testing using laboratory equipment.

Review electronic schematics and support PCB design activities.

Perform soldering, component replacement, prototype modifications, and repair of electronic assemblies.

Diagnose and resolve PCB and PCBA-level issues.

Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, optical, software, and quality engineers.
Mandatory Requirements

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.

Minimum 3 years of professional hands-on experience in electronics hardware engineering, PCB/PCBA development, or electronics system engineering.

Experience working directly with electronic circuits, PCBs, and electronic components.

Proven experience in testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and failure analysis of electronic assemblies.

Experience using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.

Ability to perform soldering and replacement of standard and SMD components.

Fluent Hebrew and English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with PCB design and schematic review.

Experience with OrCAD Capture and OrCAD PCB Designer.

Knowledge of cameras, image sensors, video systems, and imaging technologies.

Experience with embedded hardware systems.

Experience in regulated industries such as Medical Devices (ISO 13485), Automotive, Aerospace, or similar.

Experience supporting manufacturing and transfer-to-production activities.
