Job Description

Rigibore Ltd is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Electronics Engineer to join our team. This is a rare chance to receive hands-on mentoring through a structured training programme before taking on a role supporting the manufacture, testing and quality control of Rigibore's flagship product, ActiveEdge. This will include monitoring of electronic components, overseeing the manufacturing and assembly process, ensuring quality control and providing technical support for products in the field.

We're looking for someone with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. You won't be expected to have extensive industry experience—we're looking for potential. You may be required to travel internationally to customer sites for product installs.


We are looking for someone who has experience in & understanding of the following:-

·        Electronic Embedded circuit design both digital and analogue and a degree of familiarity with sensor

integration using interface structures such as I2C, SPI and UART.

·        Electronic Schematics and the ability to read and interpret associated component data sheets.

·        C programming language and its application within Microchips MPLAX development environment.

·        PCB design from schematic through to production.

·        Some hands-on experience in soldering both ‘Through Hole’ and ‘Surface Mount’ technologies.

·        Miniature Electro-Mechanical systems.

·        An awareness of Radio communications using commercial radio modules such as LoRa.


About You

You'll ideally have:

·        A degree in Electronic Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.

·        A critical approach to precision measurement and testing and an understanding of the challenges

created by industrial environments.

·        A solid understanding of electronics and embedded systems gained through your studies or personal

projects.

·        Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to develop your technical knowledge.

·        Maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality and attention to detail throughout all aspects of your

work.

·        Good communication skills and the confidence to work as part of a collaborative engineering team.

·        A positive attitude, enthusiasm and a genuine desire to learn.
