Role Description We're looking for a skilled Electronic Engineer to join our avionics engineering team. You'll work across the full product lifecycle, from hardware design through integration and verification. This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable moving between design, integration and testing.


Duties

  • Design and develop electronic hardware for avionics systems, including PCB layout, component selection, and schematic capture
  • Perform functional testing, environmental testing, and troubleshooting of prototype and production hardware
  • Support system integration and verification activities, including HIL (hardware-in-the-loop) test setups
  • Produce and maintain engineering documentation
  • Collaborate with mechanical, software and embedded firmware engineers and technicians throughout the design lifecycle
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to failure analysis and risk assessments


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 3–6 years of experience in electronics design, preferably in aerospace, defence, or a similarly regulated industry
  • Proficiency with EDA tools (Altium Designer, Cadence, or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with avionics communication protocols (MAVLINK, ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, CAN, RS-422)
  • Strong analytical and fault-finding skills
  • Knowledge of EMC/EMI design principles and testing
