Role Description The Electronic Engineer will work on-site in Dubai in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of electronic systems used in Drive7’s GPS tracking solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and reviewing electronic circuits, selecting and integrating electronic components, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and approvals. The role involves creating and executing test plans, troubleshooting hardware issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as software, product, and operations to deliver reliable solutions. The Electronic Engineer will also support product documentation, participate in quality assurance activities, and contribute to continuous improvements in performance, safety, and scalability of Drive7’s hardware platforms.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong foundational skills in Electronic Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
• Candidates should possess skills in Circuit Design and practical electronics implementation.
• Candidates should possess skills in Testing and validation of electronic systems and components.
• Relevant experience with embedded systems, GPS or communication hardware, and industry standards is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to interpret schematics, use lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators), and document findings clearly.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment in Dubai.
