Role Description The Electronic Engineer role at Akber Ali & Sons is a full-time, on-site position based in the Karachi Division. The Electronic Engineer will design, develop, and optimize electronic circuits and systems used in the company’s equipment and support solutions. Daily responsibilities include performing testing and diagnostics on electronic and electrical components, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring equipment meets performance and safety standards. The role involves collaborating with the service and technical teams to support pre-delivery inspections, operational training, and maintenance activities. The Electronic Engineer will also prepare technical documentation and provide consultancy to internal teams and customers on electronic systems and their proper usage.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Electronic Engineering and Electronics, with the ability to apply principles to industrial equipment and support solutions.
• Proficiency in Circuit Design, including schematic development, component selection, and system integration.
• Knowledge of Electrical Engineering concepts, especially related to power systems, safety, and industrial applications.
• Experience in Testing and troubleshooting electronic and electrical systems, using appropriate tools and methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and specifications.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with service, sales, and technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and safety standards.
• Willingness to work on-site and, when required, travel within the Karachi Division or other regions for service support.
• Familiarity with industrial machinery, maintenance practices, and after-sales service environments is a plus.
