Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both digital and analog circuit design, PCB development, and cable/harness design. This role requires hands-on experience with microprocessor-based systems, sensor interface circuits, schematic capture, and engineering documentation to support product development from concept through production.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop digital electronic circuits using microprocessor-based architectures.
  • Design and analyze analog circuits, with a focus on filters and sensor interface applications.
  • Create electrical schematics and generate PCB netlists using PADS 2.6 schematic capture tools.
  • Collaborate with PCB layout vendors to develop and review printed circuit board (PCB) layouts.
  • Review PCB layouts to ensure compliance with electrical and manufacturing requirements.
  • Create assembly drawings and engineering documentation using AutoCAD .
  • Design cable and wire harnesses, including harness schematics and assembly drawings.
  • Support prototype builds, testing, troubleshooting, and product validation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards and best practices.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in digital circuit design using microprocessors.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in analog circuit design with emphasis on:
  • Filter design
  • Sensor interface circuits
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cable and harness design.
  • Hands-on experience with PADS 2.6 for schematic capture and PCB netlist generation.
  • Experience working with PCB layout vendors throughout the board development process.

Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating:

  • Assembly drawings
  • Harness schematics
  • Harness assembly drawings


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting prototype development and manufacturing.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for electronic hardware.
  • Knowledge of PCB fabrication and assembly processes.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple engineering projects in a collaborative environment
