Role Overview
We are seeking an Embedded Electrical / Control Systems Intern to support the development of embedded control software for electric vehicle applications. The role involves working on real-time control algorithms, firmware development, sensor interfacing, communication protocols, and system validation for various embedded automotive systems.
This internship offers hands-on exposure to embedded firmware, control engineering, power electronics, and EV system integration.
Key Responsibilities

Develop embedded firmware using Embedded C for real-time applications.

Design, implement, and tune closed-loop control algorithms.

Assist in the development of motor control and other embedded control functions.

Interface sensors, actuators, and peripheral devices with embedded controllers.

Develop and maintain communication using CAN and UART protocols.
-
Implement system monitoring, diagnostics, and protection features.
-
Support hardware bring-up, debugging, and system validation.
-
Perform firmware testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
-
Work closely with hardware and vehicle integration teams during prototype development.

Prepare technical documentation for firmware, testing, and validation activities.
Required Skills

Strong understanding of
Embedded C
programming.

Good knowledge of microcontrollers such as
STM32, TI C2000, NXP, ESP32
, or equivalent platforms.

Understanding of
digital and analog electronics
.

Familiarity with
control systems fundamentals
, including PID control, feedback control, and state machines.

Good understanding of
power electronics
.

Experience with communication protocols:

Experience using debugging tools such as
oscilloscopes

logic analyzers

electrical schematics

closed-loop power regulation

Preferred Skills

Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
