Responsible for electrical analysis, researching, evaluating and enhancing the organization's manufacturing processes in order to maximize efficiency and quality, minimize waste and costs, and improve productivity.
Job Description
To analysis electrical & electronic of PCB, technical analysis and support in resolving quality issue for copier machine in body line.
To gather data quantifying process efficiency, analysis and recommends process improvement activity.
Responsible to installation of printed circuit board (PCB) inspection machine (FW, BST, FCT), remodeling machine based on model running.
To perform technical test, maintenance & troubleshooting for PCB inspection machine.
Participate in continuous improvement activity to improve safety, quality, cost and delivery performance.
Feedback any daily abnormalities/ quality issues in copier line to superior and help to carry out disposition per superior instruction.
Perform the electrical jig for quality improvement by using hardware & software (programming) skills.
Performs any other tasks related to process engineering job assigned by superior.
Implement cost-savings initiatives that remove non-value-added steps from the process, consequently saving time and money without impacting the quality of the finished product.
Implement PDCA cycle in all activity done.
Responsible to raise Purchase Requisition (PR) or Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) if assigned by superior as authorized member.
To ensure production continuity by support repair activity for long pending machine/unit through investigation, analysis and repair.
Job Requirements
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering & Electronic Engineering (Instrumentation / Communication / Industry / System / Power / Automation) or related engineering degree.
Experience: Preferable 1 year engineering related experience, with exposure to process improvement functions in a manufacturing environment.
Working experience on analytical methodologies, eg DOE, FMEA, SPC, Lean Manufacturing, etc is preferred.
Skill: Knowledge in Statistical Process Control and Design of Experiment, Strong technical skills and be an excellent analytical thinker & Skilled in computer technology.
Language: Be effectively bilingual in English and Malay with superior communication. Ability to communicate in Japanese is an added advantage.
