About The Opportunity

Our client in Mississauga is looking for a new Electrical and Electronics Designer who has experience designing, developing and documenting test automation systems.

Location: Mississauga, Ontario. 100% On Site

Position Type: Full-time, Permanent

Vacancy Status: This is an active vacancy.

Compensation : $70,000 - $100,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Review customer test specifications
• Design test and process automation systems including design of electrical control subsystems and systems
• Using Solidworks, developing schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout documentation
• Prepare technical documentation, BOMs, and design reports.
• Design electronic interface/control PCB to testing client products.
• Perform simulations, testing, debugging, and validation.
• Perform on-site installations and on-going technical warranty support at client sites.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Mechatronics
• 2 years of work Experience (post graduation) in electrical/electronics circuit design while being employed with a company that manufactures automation equipment
• Work experience with Solidworks Electrical, Altium Designer and EDA tools
• Work experience with analog and digital circuits.
• Knowledge of power electronics, signal integrity, and EMC/EMI principles.
• Experience with PCB design and layout review.
