Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Electrical/Electronics Engineer based in Karachi, with a mix of on-site work at customer and company facilities. The engineer will design, develop, and implement electrical and electronic systems for machine vision and automation solutions, including power distribution, control panels, and embedded electronics. Responsibilities include component selection, system integration, and testing of hardware for blister inspection, labeling, and serialization systems. The role involves creating and reviewing electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation, as well as supporting installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Collaboration with mechanical, software, and automation teams, along with direct support to production, QA, and plant stakeholders, is a core part of this position.
Qualifications

Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electronic Engineering, with the ability to apply these disciplines to industrial automation and machine vision systems.

Practical experience in PLC Programming.

Hands-on skills in Testing of electrical and electronic systems, including commissioning, diagnostics, and validation of performance and safety.

DAE or Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field.

Familiarity with industrial standards, safety practices, and compliance requirements in manufacturing environments.

Experience with control systems, sensors, and instrumentation for packaging or process automation is highly beneficial.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation, and to prepare clear reports and test records.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.

Good communication skills and willingness to interact with production, QA, and engineering stakeholders on-site.
