About the Opportunity
WOLF is looking for a full-time Director of Technology, Embedded Systems based in Aurora, ON (hybrid) . If you are applying from the USA, a remote position may be considered.
Reporting to the CTO, you will play a pivotal role in leading the creation of a new embedded systems portfolio, combining deep technical expertise with strategic direction to build and scale a high-performance engineering team.
In this position, you will be primarily responsible for driving the development of embedded system architectures, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, and leading market engagement to support WOLF’s continued growth in aerospace and defense.

About You
To qualify, you will need a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering , or a related technical field, along with 8+ years of experience in embedded systems engineering , including 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role .
A strong background in embedded systems engineering, including the hands-on design and development of embedded system architectures and hardware/software integrated platforms for edge computing in aerospace and defense applications , is essential for success in this role. While product/business management experience is an asset, strong technical expertise is essential, with support available to develop business and customer-facing skills as needed.

WOLF is a military and aerospace manufacturer requiring strict adherence to CGP and ITAR requirements. As a condition of employment, applicants must be able to provide valid documentation to show Canadian or US citizenship or Canadian Permanent Residency and undergo a police check with no criminal background .

About the Benefits
Compensation for this role includes a competitive annual salary of $180,000 to $200,000* , negotiable based on your skills and experience, and a host of excellent benefits including:
