Digital IC Design Engineer - Singapore

The position is an exciting opportunity to be part of a flexible and dynamic team in the growing markets of secure microcontrollers used in state-of-the-art secure applications including IOT, Mobile, Banking and Band Protection. The role works within the digital team in Singapore that includes all disciplines required for digital design and verification.

Responsibilities:

• Work on IP Design and Verification.
• RTL Digital design.
• IP and System Architecture definition.
• Design and implementation documentation.
• Support Functional Verification.
• Support in Verification closure by ensuring 100% coverage functionality are fully covered.
• Schedule preparation and execution adhere to plan.
• Good reporting to the management.

Requirements:

• Masters in Electronics' Engineering (a relevant experience with minimum 10 years in a semiconductor or high technology R&D environment would be appreciated)
• Experience in Hardware Design Language (such as VHDL or Verilog).
• Experience in Digital design techniques with various skill sets:
• (a) Architecture definition.
• (b) Design and implementation specification.
• (c) RTL coding.
• (d) Lint, clock-domain crossing, reset domain crossing, design for test, design for emulation.
• (e) Scripting languages (e.g., PERL, TCL, PYTHON)
• (f) Basic verification knowledge: C Language, UVM, System Verilog, Formal Methodology.
• Experience with communication IPs like, I2C, I3C, SPI, GPIO, UART will be an advantage.
• Good communication and written skills in English.
• Able to work in a multi-cultural team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill.
• Able to keep up with latest trends and methodologies in Design Automation.
