Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled DSP Systems Engineer to design, develop, and validate advanced signal processing algorithms for next-generation sensing systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Detection & Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis , and Digital Communications , and will play a critical role in developing algorithms that power our LiDAR and perception platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and verify advanced signal processing algorithms using Detection & Estimation Theory and Random Processes Analysis.
  • Simulate and model end-to-end systems to meet defined performance specifications.
  • Analyze and validate algorithm performance against real-world sensor data.
  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and system teams to integrate DSP algorithms into production systems.
  • Optimize algorithm performance for computational efficiency and accuracy.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (MSEE or equivalent) with a focus in Digital Signal Processing or Digital Communications Theory.
  • 6+ years of experience in DSP algorithm development and system-level design.
  • Strong mathematical and theoretical background in DSP, estimation, and communication systems.
  • Proven experience designing and optimizing DSP algorithms for Radar, LiDAR, or other advanced sensors.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and C/C++; experience with Python or similar languages.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Radar or LiDAR Signal Processing (FMCW).
  • Expertise in Radar link budgets, Signal-to-Noise (SNR), Signal-to-Clutter, and Minimum Detectable Signal analysis.
  • Experience implementing DSP algorithms on FPGAs or embedded platforms.
