In this role, you will design, develop, and validate embedded firmware for real-time control systems used in grid-connected power conversion and energy management applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience with embedded firmware development, real-time operating systems, and control algorithms, along with a passion for building reliable, high-performance embedded software.
Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Firmware, Software, Systems, Hardware, and Compliance Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle.

Design, develop, and implement embedded firmware for real-time control applications.

Develop and optimize grid support and control algorithms for power electronics systems.

Create and execute Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) integration and validation tests.

Develop, debug, and maintain embedded software using C and C++ in RTOS-based environments.

Optimize firmware for performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

Troubleshoot embedded hardware and software integration issues.

Develop automated test suites and support system verification activities.

Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Support product validation, compliance testing, and field issue investigation.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

Experience developing embedded firmware for real-time control systems.

Strong programming skills in C and C++.

Experience working with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).

Experience developing highly reliable, mission-critical embedded applications.

Familiarity with embedded debugging, firmware validation, and integration testing.

Experience with Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and/or Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing.
