Job Summar

yWe are seeking an experienced Control Systems & Firmware Engineer to join our engineering team in Texas. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in embedded firmware development, real-time control systems, hardware-software integration, and model-based design. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, testing, and optimizing control algorithms and embedded software for advanced automation and embedded systems applications

.The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including hardware, systems, validation, and product engineering to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions throughout the product development lifecycle

Key Responsibiliti

esDesign, develop, and maintain embedded firmware using C/C++ for real-time embedded system
s.Develop and implement control algorithms for automation and control applications using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflo
w.Translate control system models into production-quality embedded softwar
e.Develop software solutions for RTOS-based embedded platform
s.Perform hardware-software integration, system bring-up, and validation activitie
s.Analyze system requirements and develop control strategies to meet performance, reliability, and safety objective
s.Design, implement, and tune control algorithms including PID, PI, state-based, and advanced control technique
s.Conduct simulation, modeling, and verification activities to validate system behavior before deploymen
t.Perform debugging and troubleshooting of embedded firmware and control system issue
s.Support system-level testing, verification, validation, and performance optimizatio
n.Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate sensors, actuators, communication interfaces, and embedded controller
s.Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with software development standards and best practice
s.Utilize Git for source code management, version control, and collaborative developmen
t.Create and maintain technical documentation including software design specifications, test procedures, and validation report
s.Support continuous improvement initiatives related to firmware architecture, controls design, and software qualit

Required Qualificati

onsBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related fie
ld.5+ years of experience in embedded firmware development and control systems engineeri
ng.Strong programming experience with Embedded C/C
++.Hands-on experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTO
S).Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and Statefl
ow.Strong understanding of control theory and control system implementati
on.Experience with hardware-software integration and embedded system debuggi
ng.Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, or Ethern
et.Experience with firmware testing, verification, and validation methodologi
