About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable
Assistant Professor- Embedded Design
to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in embedded systems, microcontrollers, IoT, and real-time programming, along with a passion for teaching and mentoring students. You will play a key role in delivering industry-relevant education through hands-on learning and practical projects.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on laboratory sessions on Embedded Systems and related subjects.

Teach topics including Embedded C, C++, Microcontrollers, Microprocessors, RTOS, Embedded Linux, Device Drivers, and IoT.

Conduct practical sessions using STM32, ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ARM-based development platforms.

Mentor students on academic projects, capstone projects, hackathons, research initiatives, and innovation challenges.

Develop course content, laboratory exercises, assessments, and learning resources aligned with industry needs.

Keep the curriculum updated with the latest advancements in Embedded Systems and IoT.

Prepare students for internships and placements through technical mentoring and career guidance.

Participate in curriculum development, faculty development programs, workshops, and academic activities.
Required Skills
-
Strong programming skills in
Embedded C and C++

Hands-on experience with
ARM Cortex, STM32, AVR, PIC, ESP32, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi
-
Good understanding of
RTOS
(FreeRTOS preferred)

Knowledge of communication protocols such as
UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and USB

Experience with sensor interfacing, embedded hardware debugging, and IoT applications

Familiarity with Embedded Linux and Device Driver development is an added advantage

Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills
Education
-
M.Tech or Ph.D.
in
Embedded Systems, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior teaching, training, or relevant industry experience in Embedded Systems.

Experience in curriculum development, applied research, or publishing technical papers is an advantage.

Industry certifications in Embedded Systems or IoT are a plus.
